Tan Kang Min

Tan Kang Min is a Counsel at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in infrastructure law, energy and construction projects, and international arbitration. Her practice spans both contentious and non-contentious aspects of major infrastructure and energy projects across Singapore, Malaysia, and the wider ASEAN region, covering oil and gas facilities, refinery and power station developments, ports, data centres, and other large-scale infrastructure assets.

Kang Min represents employers, contractors, investors, and developers in high‑value cross‑border disputes involving energy, oil and gas, power, and construction sectors. She has represented a multinational contractor before a FIDIC appointed dispute adjudication board in Malaysia for claims of over S$120 million arising from a hydro‑electric power plant; represented the owner of combined cycle cogeneration plants in disputes concerning a gas turbine generator unit in Thailand; and acted in a Singapore‑seated SIAC arbitration involving a geothermal power plant in Indonesia. She also advises on non‑contentious project matters including tender strategy, construction documentation, and project risk strategy for gas pipeline projects, biofuel production facilities, renewable energy developments, airport and land transport projects, and data centre developments.

Kang Min holds an LL.B. (First‑Class Honours) from the University of Liverpool, a J.D. (Highest Distinction) from the National University of Singapore, and is admitted to the Bars of Singapore, Malaysia, and England and Wales.
