Ton van den Bosch

Ton van den Bosch is a Director in the Corporate & Finance practice at Drew & Napier, serving as Head of the Projects, Energy and Infrastructure practice, specializing in Infrastructure Law. He is a dual‑qualified (English and Dutch) lawyer with a strong reputation in the upstream, renewables, FPSO, agri, infrastructure, logistics, ports, and terminals sectors, particularly in frontier and emerging markets in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

Ton has advised on numerous significant projects, including advising an upstream company on the FPSO aspects of the US$4.2 billion Sangomar field development offshore Senegal; advising a global port operator on a tender to takeover and develop four container terminals in Indonesia; advising an FPSO operator on the deployment and US$180 million project financing of the FPSO “Glas Dowr” for Eni’s Kitan project in the Joint Petroleum Development Area; advising a European contractor on an offshore wind project off the coast of Changhua in Taiwan; and advising a global terminal operator on the development of the first dry port in the Philippines.

Ton was admitted as a Dutch lawyer (advocaat) in October 1998 and as an English solicitor in October 2002. He is registered as a Foreign Lawyer in Singapore (2017). He has worked in private practice with global law firms in New York, Singapore, Amsterdam, and Jakarta, and served as General Counsel of a privately owned FPSO owner and oil & gas contractor, and later as GC of a listed global terminal operator headquartered in the Philippines. He is recognised by The Legal 500 every year since 2020.
