Ted Teo is a Partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. He advises on corporate finance, M&A, and ongoing commercial needs for listed and private companies, including contract negotiations, regulatory obligations, and employment matters across a variety of sectors, with a growing practice in the food and fast‑moving consumer goods industries.

Ted has acted for Cars24 on its Series C, D and E fundraising rounds raising over US$500 million; as Singapore counsel to Diginex (now Eqonex) in a de‑SPAC by way of reverse merger with a NASDAQ‑listed SPAC; for Global Investment Limited on its re‑domiciliation from Bermuda to Singapore, the first re‑domiciliation of an SGX‑listed Bermudan company to Singapore; and as Singapore counsel for Fortive Corporation and Ecolab Inc. on their global restructurings. He has also advised Tesla Motors on its launch into the Singapore market, acted for the shareholders of Global Movers Inc. on a sale for over S$8 million, and advised on a joint venture with a leading New Zealand brewery focusing on non‑alcoholic and low‑alcohol craft beer.

Ted holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2016) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2017. He has written on food safety regulations and copyright in the age of generative AI.
