Terence Wah

Terence Wah is a Partner in Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP, specialising in trusts and estates, tax, and real estate disputes. He is a certified Trusts and Estates Practitioner (TEP) by STEP and is recognised as one of the few Singapore practitioners with deep expertise in both contentious trust and property litigation.

He routinely advises on the administration of trusts, estates and charities, and acts as lead counsel in complex, high-stakes disputes involving professional trustees, high-net-worth families and fiduciary institutions. Notable matters include acting for a subsidiary of a listed real estate developer to cancel an easement under section 105A of the Land Titles Act in the first case of its kind, successfully representing the landlord of Kallang Wave Mall in a claim for rental arrears of over S$500,000 and damages exceeding S$2 million, obtaining a declaration from the High Court to dissolve a partnership, and acting for a professional trust company in a leading decision on the Re Rose principle in Singapore. He also advises on property tax disputes and represents clients in income tax appeals before the Board of Review.

Terence holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. from the National University of Singapore. He is the author of the 5th Edition of Probate and Administration Law in Singapore (LexisNexis, 2026) and has contributed to Atkin's Court Forms and LexisNexis Practical Guidance Singapore.

He is recognised by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific as a Future Star for Private Client (2026). He serves as the Head of Dentons Rodyk's Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, Honorary Secretary of two large registered charities, and Immediate Past Chairman of the Namly Neighbourhood Committee.
