V Santhosh

V Santhosh is a Senior Associate in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice groups, focusing on general commercial litigation, international arbitration, white-collar defence and investigations, employment disputes, and insurance litigation.

His notable experience includes defending a Singaporean company and its CEO in a USD 230 million multi-jurisdictional claim for deceit, fraud and conspiracy, which resulted in a leading Court of Appeal decision on freezing injunctions (JTrust Asia Pte Ltd v Group Lease Holdings Pte Ltd); acting for an Italian blockchain investment company in a USD 8 million SIAC arbitration involving issues of unilateral termination rights and US securities laws; representing insurers in landmark COVID-19 business interruption proceedings in the High Court and Court of Appeal; and acting for a statutory board to obtain and execute an Anton Piller order against a former employee for data theft and corporate espionage. He also defends clients in complex white-collar matters, including one of Singapore's largest alleged Ponzi schemes involving almost SGD 1.5 billion.

Santhosh holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2019) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2020. He was part of the NUS team that emerged Champions at the 10th Leiden-Sarin International Air Law Moot Competition in 2019, where he received an honourable mention for Best Oralist. He volunteers as pro bono criminal defence counsel under the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme and serves on the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme Committee of Pro Bono SG and the Criminal Law Practice Committee of the Law Society of Singapore.
