Andrew ANG

Andrew Ang is the Head of the Corporate Group and Co-Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice at WongPartnership, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He also serves as a Partner in the Private Equity Practice. His main practice areas are local and cross‑border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, privatisations, and private equity investments.

He was recognised as one of Asia's Top 15 M&A Lawyers in the Asian Legal Business 2022 list and was named "Lawyer of the Year" for Private Equity Law in the 2018 edition of Best Lawyers in Singapore. Clients have described him as "very innovative," "commercial, very practical and quick to respond," and as "the guru of the Singapore takeover code." He has been lauded for his knowledge of key stakeholder behaviour and precedents, and his ability to offer solutions to myriad options with listed companies.

Andrew graduated from the University of Nottingham with an LL.B. (Hons). He is admitted as a Barrister-at-Law (Gray's Inn) and to the Singapore Bar.
