Gail ONG

Gail Ong is the Head of the Equity Capital Markets Practice at WongPartnership, specialising in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. She represents issuers and underwriters in a wide range of U.S.-registered and Rule 144A/Reg S equity and debt offerings for clients across South East and South Asia, particularly Singapore, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Prior to joining WongPartnership, Gail practised U.S. securities law at the Singapore and New York offices of a leading international law firm. She has deep experience advising on complex cross-border transactions and brings a combination of international and Singapore capital markets expertise to her practice.

Gail holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She is admitted to the Singapore Bar and the New York State Bar.

She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Singapore Institute of Technology and as Chair of the Law Society's Equity Capital Markets Committee.
