Gerald Paul Seah

Gerald Paul Seah is a Director in the Dispute Resolution practice at Drew & Napier, focusing on commercial litigation and arbitration.

He handles complex shareholders' disputes, judicial management and liquidation of large companies, cryptocurrency-related disputes, claims for breach of trust and fiduciary duties, and recovery of trust assets. Notable matters include successfully acting for the former Prime Minister of Georgia and his family in bringing claims for breach of trust against Credit Suisse Trust Limited, where the Singapore International Commercial Court awarded damages of US$926 million, upheld on appeal; acting for the estate of an Indian mining baron in claims against an errant trustee for recovery of trust assets valued at around US$690 million; and acting for a Philippine company in an SIAC arbitration against its joint venture partner and successfully resisting an application to set aside the tribunal's award.

Gerald holds an LL.B (Hons) First Class from the University of Nottingham (2016) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2018.
