Hyrum Li

Hyrum Li is a Partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in capital markets law, investment funds, and real estate investment trusts. He advises on REIT transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and divestments, initial public offerings, debt financing, and changes of trustee, and provides regulatory advice on securities, funds, capital markets intermediaries, payment services, and moneylending activities.

Hyrum has acted for HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited as trustee of ARA LOGOS Logistics Trust in the proposed S$1.4 billion merger with ESR-REIT; for Perpetual (Asia) Limited in the US$773 million IPO of NTT DC REIT on the SGX; for Perpetual (Asia) Limited as trustee of Keppel DC REIT in the S$1.4 billion acquisition of two hyperscale data centres; and for DBS Trustee Limited in the retirement of RBC Investor Services Trust Singapore and appointment as trustee of Lendlease Global Commercial REIT. He also advises on financing transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loans, real estate development financing, and acquisition financing, and has acted for a BNPL platform in its merger with a Singapore-based shopping and rewards platform.

Hyrum holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2017) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2018.
