Lin Shumin

Lin Shumin is a Director in the Dispute Resolution practice at Drew & Napier, handling complex contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, company law issues, tortious actions, and cross-border commercial matters. She has particular experience with cryptocurrency and blockchain disputes and freezing injunctions.

She has acted as lead counsel in multiple high-value international arbitrations, including representing a stablecoin operator in a fraudulent misrepresentation claim with more than USD 100 million in dispute; acting for a leading stablecoin operator in a fraud and breach of fiduciary duties claim exceeding USD 450 million; and acting for a web3 company and its founders in a dispute exceeding USD 100 million. She has also acted for beneficiaries of a billion‑dollar estate, successfully advocating their interests in a trustee's recoupment application—the first such matter in Singapore—and has been lead counsel in a novel appeal that laid down new law on the production of documents.

Lin Shumin holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and a University Degree in French Legal Studies from the University of Poitiers.
