Mark Wong

Mark Wong is a Senior Partner in the Corporate Practice Group at Dentons Rodyk, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, and project finance. With over 25 years of experience, he represents both buyers and sellers across a diverse range of sectors, including fintech, pharmaceutical, transportation, manufacturing, real estate, hospitality, oil and gas, energy, and mining.

Mark has advised on numerous landmark transactions, including Sunright Limited on its disposal of KEST Systems' factory building for NT$188 million; TKO Pte Ltd on its S$108 million unconditional mandatory general cash offer for Avarga Limited; a Singapore subsidiary of one of the world's leading semiconductor foundries on a US$39.3 million joint venture dissolution and manufacturing arrangement; Razer on its acquisition of Interhaptics (Go Touch VR SAS) in France; and The Straits Trading Company on its S$217.9 million distribution in specie. He also advised state-owned enterprises including PetroChina, State Grid Corporation of China, Sinopec, China Merchants, COFCO, and PRC sovereign wealth funds on cross-border acquisitions across Asia, Europe, and South America. His expertise spans transactional, regulatory, corporate, and commercial advisory work, including complex cross-border reorganisations, joint ventures, and public-private partnerships.

Mark holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Leicester (1999) and a Master's in International Economics from Sciences Po Paris (2005). He is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore (2001) and as an Avocat of the Court of Appeal of Paris (2006).

He has been recognised in Asia Business Law Journal's The A-List – Singapore's Top 100 Lawyers (2025–2026) and as a key lawyer in Corporate and M&A by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2024–2026). He is a native speaker of English and Mandarin, and is also fluent in French, Cantonese, and Hakka.
