Melanie HO

Melanie Ho is the Head of the Professional and Enterprise Disputes Practice, Co‑Head of the White Collar Enforcement Practice, and a Partner in the International Arbitration Practice, specialising in dispute resolution. Her areas of practice include health sciences and medical law, commercial and fraud disputes, and intellectual property. She represents public‑listed and multinational companies, healthcare and pharmaceutical industry players, statutory boards, and individual plaintiffs and defendants.

She is the first Singaporean lawyer appointed to the Appeals Board of the Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), the final appellate authority for medical and professional misconduct cases. She provides advisory support to the Singapore Medical Council and the Singapore Dental Council and represents them at disciplinary inquiries, including advising on amendments to the Ethical Code and Ethical Guidelines on informed consent. She is recognised by Global Investigations Review 100 as a key player for investigations work, and as a Litigation Star in Benchmark Litigation: White Collar Crime (2024‑2025). She has also been selected by Best Lawyers for Litigation and Medical Malpractice Litigation.

Melanie holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and is admitted to the Singapore Bar. She has served for over 15 years as legal adviser to the Adult Protection Team (Ministry of Social and Family Development) and contributes to Girl Guides Singapore.
