Kirindeep Singh

Kirindeep Singh is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice groups. He is Co-Head of the firm's Construction, International Trade and Energy practices. He was appointed by the Singapore Academy of Law as a Senior Accredited Specialist in Building & Construction Law in 2023.

His primary practice areas are construction and engineering, energy, arbitration, general civil and commercial litigation, and anti-bribery, anti-corruption and white collar investigations. He has been involved in numerous disputes in adjudication, dispute boards (DABs), arbitration and litigation, representing owners, developers, consultants and contractors in disputes under standard form and bespoke contracts. Notable matters include acting for a major Japanese MNC in a half‑billion-dollar dispute concerning major transport infrastructure in Singapore, acting for a North African oil and gas conglomerate in ICC arbitrations in Paris concerning the construction of an offshore oil storage platform, and acting for a major Indian client in a multi‑million dollar claim in ICC Switzerland arbitration pertaining to overhead power transmission lines. He also handles general commercial litigation, employment matters, insurance claims, professional negligence, banking work and property disputes.

Kirindeep holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Leeds (1995) and a BCL from Keble College, University of Oxford (1997).

He is recognised as a Leading Individual for Construction by Chambers Asia-Pacific, a Recommended Lawyer by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific for Dispute Resolution, Construction and International Arbitration, and a Litigation Star in Construction by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an Accredited Adjudicator under Singapore's Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act, and Past Chair of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association's International Construction Projects Committee. He also serves as an Associate Lecturer for Construction Law at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), where he received the Teaching Excellence Award in 2018.
