MIAO Miao

Miao Miao is the Deputy Head of the China Practice, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate finance. He advises clients on foreign direct investment, project finance, equity transactions, and general corporate law, with particular expertise in power plant projects involving foreign investment in China. He has advised on approximately 20 such deals in China.

He handles cross‑border M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings, delivering strategic legal solutions to clients across multiple sectors. His practice spans both transactional advisory and regulatory compliance across the PRC, Singapore and other jurisdictions.

Miao Miao holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Leeds, UK, a BSc and Master of Economics from Zhejiang University, PRC, and has been admitted to the Bar of the People's Republic of China, the Singapore Bar, and the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales.
