Rachel Ang

Rachel Ang is a Counsel in the Competition & Foreign Investment Review Practice at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in competition law, merger control, and foreign investment review. She has experience in a range of antitrust matters, including merger control as well as investigations into cartels and abuses of dominance, and routinely conducts multi‑jurisdictional merger control and foreign investment control analysis.

Rachel has advised CAPGC Pte. Ltd. on the antitrust and foreign investment review aspects of its acquisition of the energy and chemical parks business of Shell Singapore Pte. Ltd.; Singapore Telecommunications Limited on merger control filings in various jurisdictions for its sale of a minority stake in its regional data centre business to KKR; SATS Ltd. on its notification to the CCS for its proposed acquisition of WFS Global Holding SAS; and DBS Bank Ltd on the merger control aspects of its joint venture to establish Climate Impact X, a global exchange and marketplace for high‑quality carbon credits.

Rachel holds an LL.B. (High Merit) from Singapore Management University and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2017.
