Tan Yuan Kheng

Tan Yuan Kheng is a Director in the Dispute Resolution practice at Drew & Napier, specializing in Dispute Resolution. She has an active practice in complex litigation and international arbitration involving sovereign States, multinational corporations, and high‑net‑worth individuals, advising on commercial contracts, corporate disputes, shareholder and director disputes, tortious claims, competition law, infrastructure projects, trusts, investor‑state disputes, banking and finance, and regulatory actions.

Yuan Kheng has acted on numerous landmark matters, including successfully acting for members of the De La Sala family in the largest trust case ever heard in Singapore, involving disputed assets estimated to be worth between US$600‑800 million; securing a US$926 million judgment for Bidzina Ivanishvili, a former Prime Minister of Georgia, in a claim against Credit Suisse Trust for breach of trust; successfully acting for the Government of Laos to resist the setting aside of two Bilateral Investment Treaty awards before the Singapore Courts; and acting for the Republic of India in a tax dispute involving US$3.8 billion capital gains. She has also acted in a complex ICC arbitration involving a popular online game with alleged losses valued at approximately US$1 billion.

Yuan Kheng holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2013), where she was placed on the Dean's List, and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2014. She is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
