Yeo Wico

Yeo Wico is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in capital markets law, corporate finance, and structured finance. With two decades of experience, he has been regularly cited as a leading practitioner in legal publications for both debt and equity capital markets work, with broad-based capability covering IPOs, bonds, securitisation, and structured finance.

Wico has advised on landmark transactions including the largest IPO and largest bond offering in Singapore in the same year, multi‑billion dollar infrastructure business trust IPOs, and the first sukuk issues and programmes in Singapore. He also advised on Singapore's inaugural sovereign green bonds and the first 50‑year bond issued by the Singapore Government. His experience extends to innovative retail bond offerings, publicly‑rated synthetic securitisation, and the first listed asset securitisation programme in Singapore.

Wico holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and a Diploma in Banking and Finance from The Institute of Banking and Finance, Singapore. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 1992, admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in 1999, and as an attorney and Counsellor‑at‑Law in the State of New York in 2001.

He is appointed by the Minister‑in‑Charge of MAS as a member of the Appeal Advisory Panels under the Business Trusts Act, Financial Advisers Act, Insurance Act, Securities and Futures Act, Trust Companies Act, Financial Services and Markets Act, and Credit Bureau Act, and by the Minister for Finance as a member of the Income Tax Board of Review. He is also a member of the Corporate Law Advisory Panel to ACRA.
