Steven Lo, PBM

Steven Lo, PBM is the Managing Director of Corporate & Finance at Drew & Napier, serving as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Co-Head of Capital Markets, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. His practice focuses on M&A and corporate finance, with extensive experience in both private and public M&A transactions in Singapore and the region, acting for bidders, target companies, and financial advisers.

Steven has advised on numerous significant transactions, including acting for Evercore Asia as independent financial adviser in relation to the acquisition of Global Logistic Properties by Nesta Investment Holdings, valued at approximately S$16 billion—Asia's largest private equity buyout transaction, which won M&A Deal of the Year (Premium) at the ALB SE Asia Legal Awards 2018. He also advised Singapore Petroleum Company in connection with PetroChina's takeover bid (ALB Singapore M&A Deal of the Year 2010); acted for Innovalues in its acquisition by Northstar (S$331.4 million, SVCA PE Deal of the Year 2017); advised Asia Pacific Breweries on its acquisition of Heineken's assets in Indonesia and New Caledonia; and acted for The Straits Trading Company in connection with competitive bids. He also represents issuers, underwriters, and selling shareholders in domestic and international capital markets transactions.

Steven holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1995) and an LL.M. from Cambridge University (1998). He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1996 and as a Solicitor of England & Wales in 2000 (non-practising).

He has been noted in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific as a "highly experienced corporate/M&A lawyer" providing "solid advice" with an understanding of "commercial issues and realities." He has been involved in multiple ALB Singapore Deal of the Year and M&A Deal of the Year award-winning transactions.
